What is a good idea for a costume as a piece of art or famous artist?
Tomorrow I am attending an art party and our theme is going to be famous artists or pieces of art. I was wondering if anybody had a good idea as to how I should dress. I would prefer something easy to do and cheap if possible, but would also like to here some exotic ideas. Thanks in advance!

what about andy warhol? just a black turtleneck and some gray hair and you're good to go

What about the mona lisa? You would need to wear a dress and a wig, ha ha, and a half smile. Or The Persistence of Memory, you could wear a weird clock hanging from your neck :)

Well, the easiest (and cheapest) piece of art to be would me Michelangelo's "David", but you might get in trouble for that one. You can also copy the famous portrait of Napoleon Bonaparte, as painted by Jacque-Louis David. This is a very well recognized painting. Whistler's Mother (by James McNeil Whistler) is another classic, and if you can get a partner, then there is always the American Gothic, painted by Grant Wood.
