Why is it all the Computer animation in films makes the film feel cheap and crap?
Every film that uses Computer animation in it,looks and feels cheap and destroys the film as a piece of work.Have movie makers lost their skill to create good films and are just throwing any old crap out knowing we the public will watch anything and enjoy it. What do you think?

I know that you probably are not talking about graphics-heavy-reliant movies, but the new Star Wars movies made me think that. How much lazier were those movies made than the original ones? Even Steven Segal has done it. Ever see "Exit Wounds", when he jumps backwards over the car? Bruce Lee never would have done that!

I AGREE!!! Every time I watch a movie with computer animation special effects I can't help but feel like I'm watching a freakin cartoon on the cartoon network. I say scrap the computer animation and come up with some decent films Hollywood!!!

I think that if the kids stopped buying tickets for garbage movies, that movies would get a whoooole lot better, and real fast! The "bread and butter" or baseline demographics for all films are kids who are dating. Period. That's who spent...$90 million on "X-men" last week, and who'll spend $100 million or more on "Star Trek" this week, both of them being CGI orgies with little substance, character, or plot. If the kids demanded (with their parent's money for the most part) better movies, then Hollywood would start making them. But they won't. Today's kids have the attention span of gnats, and are easily distracted by flashing lights and loud noises, like "X-men" and "Star Trek." How else can you explain a movie with two girls fighting making over $60 million?

You are all being a little too harsh. There are PLENTY of films out there that are story driven, great movies. YOU have to not be lazy and seek them out. There are films made for everyone. Yes, the target demographic for most of the CG-heavy effects movies are the 13-24 year old male, but that doesn't mean other people don't enjoy watching them. Studios have been churning out crap for a long time. You just have to know where to look to find the good ones.

I DON'T THINK SO....it depends on the film and the producers...some movies with animation really look stupid and nonsense...
