What should Barack Obama be able to fix when he becomes president? How quickly should he be able to fix it? Do you think that someone else could do a better job of fixing our nations problems? Government - 5 Answers - 2008-12-02 07:42:01 Best Answer All he is going to fix is a peanut butter sandwich. If anything he will break a lot more than fix. I mean he already broke the United States apart, just by running! And I am sure my 6 yr old could do better with her glue stick All Answers Answer 1 Fix? Fix what exactly? The way I see it, both he and Hilary agree on everything. Everything but foreign policy. Now what job is the Secretary of State job? You guessed it. 2008-12-02 07:51:08 Answer 4 Well, with a mostly Democratic Congress in place, he should be able to get alot of his plans put into action. He should have a decently big impact on the economy, an big impact on national security, and a big impact on foreign policy and foreign affairs and the military (those are the two areas where Presidents usually have the most power anyways). Personally, I think he'll leave the country more vulnerable in terms of national security, I think he'll keep us in a recession at best, I think he'll pull out of Iraq too soon and leave Iraq more vulnerable and therefore endanger the Government that's forming there which means a higher likelihood of it turning back over to terrorists and we lose another ally in the middle east, I think he'll do perfectly fine in terms of our standing with Europe, I think he'll fail miserably in handling Iran, Israel, and Pakistan. I think that sending troops back into Afghanistan could go either way but that may actually be a success of his, I think his healthcare plan will cripple our healthcare system and make it much worse than it is now. Overall, I think he wasn't the best choice for President but I'm not convinced totally that he'll completely flop yet. I just think the odds are against us with his plans and I think we'll see some things get worse and most things stay the same with a small number of things getting better. 2008-12-02 07:55:43 Answer 5 the over taxation of the people. but he doesn't have the spine to do so. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-1656880303867390173 is the problem and no one has what it take to fix it. 2008-12-02 08:12:31 |
